For some reason I was not expecting these to come out until later this month or August but apparently they are out there. Nobody was at the campsite so I wasn't able to speak to anybody. I will swing by that campsite again tomorrow as I am really curious. They definitely look better in person Dan

I saw a Chey High Country on the highway a couple days ago. I couldn't get ahead of it to get a good look at the grill but I thought it looked very nice from every angle I saw it from.

The gas powered trucks have a fake hood scoop. The diesel powered trucks have a real hood scoop.

The ones on order here are built and waiting for the transport West. I have ordered first year trucks (including an 01 Duramax 3500) and have not been bite with any real issues, nothing more than computer updates. This pickup has seen more R&D than probably anything since 01 as I understand it, given the new tranny and increase in GVW it would make sense. The L5P has not had any issues that I have heard or experienced so, I would not be concerned about buying a 2020.

From what I have read the earliest possible delivery date was July 1. That was for crewcab standard bed only. My guess is there will only be a trickle of them for a while and finding one to see will not be easy. I did do a nationwide search on autotrader for a 2020 GMC 2500 and came up with 28 pages of listings. There are no pictures so my guess is none are on the ground. They do show the sticker price and GM has caught up with Ford and Ram in the pricing category. Many of them are north of $80K.

In watching one of the GM truck forums some of the guys who ordered early do have confirmation of their trucks being built, pending delivery or hung up in quality control. I'm not sure I would want to be one of the first.

I saw a 2020 in Lexington, KY today towing a fishing boat. Didn’t get a good look at any tell tale signs of it being a company truck on a road trip or if it was a private vehicle.

I think it looked better in person than in the pictures.

Not sure why the wheel wells need to be so darn large and open. Makes the wheels look like toys. Definitely do not like those lights over the wheels.

Did some looking. Seems like the reflectors/marker lights in the wheel molding is a GMC thing. Nothing on the Chevy side that I could find. Seems like a weird divergence between the brands.
