We've been on the road the last three weeks and have only been 1.5 inches off side to side once and only had to unhitch once to level front to back in a uphill pull through.
I use "Hopkins Graduated Level" google for suppliers, mounted at front driver side by the jack controls. Level your rig by any preferred method then apply the "Hopkins Graduated Level" for my trailer 1 degree equals 1 1/2 inch, makes it easy to lay down the right number of boards to level.
I do jockey the fiver if I notice visible differences in the site to save on leveling.
