Park models

I have a few questions for the owner of them. Do you close the slides every time you leave for longer than a day? If so do you have problems with the slide mechanism because you use it so much? Do those big windows leak? I have so many questions. Which brands are better or worse?

Park models are designed to be set up and that's it folks. But if it has slides. Well you can run 'em in and out or not.. Up to you.
  • They brought three different ones into our RV park last year and all three of them needed major repairs .
One needed a lot of the pipes replaced and they had to redo the roof, and yes another one had the windows leaking.
After what I saw, I would never get one.

  • I run my slide couple times a week. No issues. Lubricant is the key.
  • I have been looking at the forest river salem villa models. My experience with FR is they aren't made well.
  • I was not aware that "Park" models had slideouts. I thought that they were limited to a certain square feet and some sort of cheated that by adding a "storage loft".
but then it has been many years since I was looking at them.
