If a campground is far enough out to not have over the air TV available, they're probably also far enough out to not have cable available and perhaps also to have limited internet service available...without paying a significant sum of money to get the infrastructure there.
Personally, if I'm camping, watching TV or diddling on the internet are pretty far down on my list of things to do. NPR / BBC news is at least as good as most TV news networks, in my opinion, and may be more readily available in far-flung places (but in other cases may not).
