Patty o Shade Sunscreen

We have the Patty O Shade, and it works great, our awning is facing south, when the sun moves to the west, the sun comes in on the side. Cant find anyone selling a side panel to conform with the awning, Campingworlds catalog does show a panel for sale made by Patty O Shade. Does anyone have a website we could go to, or anyone made their own panels and would like to share their plans. Thanks to all who reply, Wolf3gang.

I saw those sun shades. DW went to Lowes bought a whole roll of that sun screen material. Sewed in a plastic clothes line that slides into awning track. Easy to make and much cheaper.

  • I use this one from Carefree Side Blocker it works great and is adjustable to the angle or your support arm and it comes in colors to match the other shade, I have the blue ones.
  • Why not just use a flat bed sheet and attach it to the edge of the awning with paper binder clips (the metal ones), sold at any Office Depot type of store. We do this all the time to block the sun. Nice thing about that is, you can simply remove it when you don't need it.
