I would never pay in full before delivery meaning PDI and actually taking possession. I would also also never pay in full on a new rig without having a photocopy of the signed off MSO by the dealer and of all his paperwork ready to file with the DMV. If I were in your position, I'd not pay and I'd forget the deal and go elsewhere (the same show terms should be available via someone else) or else if the deal is that irresistible, make the deal, pay the $ but take delivery now on the existing unit. You can store it somewhere for a couple of months secure in the knowledge that you actually got tangible value for your $$.
