A lot of companies offer dealer incentives to move units, yes a lot of time there is a time frame to receive these incentives. Same with tires they usually have incentives during the slow time to move tires, just bought a set of four received 75. gift card.
When I ordered a new 5th wheel I put down a 2500 deposit and paid the rest when the unit came in.
Did you want the dealer to wait until spring to be paid for the unit? I think the dealer offered you a fair option of doing a full day PDI paying for the unit and holding until spring.
