- RGar974417ExplorerMy friend lives in Payson and he called last week and said it was about 60.
- tpiExplorerI doubt it is snow covered. I was in Prescott two days ago, no snow cover. I'm in Williams now, a few patches near railway station. I was in Grand Canyon south rim yesterday, less than 50% coverage and whats there isn't deep. The San Francisco Peaks at very high elevations have good coverage.
- run100ExplorerIt will be 90-degrees in Phoenix today and has been warm the past couple weeks. Payson and the Rim area run 10-18 degrees cooler, so if there was snow before, it won't be much longer.
- allen8106ExplorerWe came through Payson this past Saturday and there was NO snow on the ground.
- RoyBExplorer IIBest bet would be to call ahead and ask the Camp site I guess...

What I want to know is if the camp area is open or snowblocked. - Desert_CaptainExplorer IIINot from Payson but have been through there many times. Given the warm dry winter we are enjoying here throughout Arizona I seriously doubt you could find any snow near Payson (6,000'). Might be some up on the Mogollon Rim as that is 7,000'+ but not likely.
