Boy- I have old pictures of old trailers :) First, my wife in front of here parents new Prairie Schooner:

Another view of the Schooner- I include this just for the dolly used to tow.

That trailer was totaled in Iowa- older couple passing a heavy truck on a 2 lane highway- the old highways that had curbs. Patti's Dad managed to just the curb with the TV, but the side of the Schooner was pealed back like a tin can.
Next, an "American" trailer- trailer park in Michigan:

And in the winter:

These trailers had kerosene stove and heater, 120 volt wiring, no 12 volt, no demand water, no holding tanks. Her Dad rigged an auto lamp and battery so she could read without using a lantern.
