Plexus and/or SeaLand Cleanser

Thanks for the info on Plexus. Guess we'll try it at least once. That's really odd about the lemon Pledge. Good to know. One of our neighbors raises bees so there are always lots of them around anyway.

Smell just like Lemon-grass Oil. So don't spray lemon pledge on the side of your house if there is a swarm of bees near by.

Took the hardtop off today and my wife was a bit displeased at the uncleanliness of the interior of the Jeep, especially "her" side (passenger side) and volunteered to clean it up for me. Yay, her! Fast forward 10 minutes, and there is a crowd of various bees and bee-like insects taking an extreme interest in the visors and dashboard where she had used Lemon Pledge with Extra Moiturizers a few minutes before to give those areas a nice shine. Sprayed some on the ground and bees took a liking to that area, too.


And on and on and on. There's thousands of hits on Lemon Pledge and bees on Google.

We used Plexus on the plastic windows on our popup when we had it. It worked great and didn't scratch the plastic at all. Yeah, it's pricey but a can lasts a long time.

I used Plexus on my Goldwing for about 4 years. Gave it up because of cost and availability.

I now use lemon Pledge or Honda spray polish. Both are way cheaper and work equally as well on everything I have used them on.

BTW, the Pledge seems to last a little longer than either of the "special purpose" cleaner/polishes.

I have used my DW's Lemon Pledge for many years on plastic. It works great to keep the windshield on my Gold Wing clean and clear.!

I have used Plexus for a long time. I use it on plastic windshields, motorcycle and snowmobile. I use it on the helmet face shields, my goggles, and glasses. I think it works very well!

It is expensive, but a large spray can will last a long time, because it doesn't take a lot to do the polishing. It will give a better visibility to just about any plastic you look through.

We use it as our windows are flush mounted. You pull the window in and then slide it. When the windows are new they are a little tight. Plexus makes them slide much easier. The manufacturer recommended Plexus

It's what we use on helicopter wind shields. But first, know this; it is NOT any good as a cleaner. Lousy in fact. Even plain water works better at removing bugs. It is an excellent polish. You need to clean the surface first with a good cleaner, like Windex, then polish with Plexus. It is also an excellent protectant. It gets rid of those spider web swirls and the obnoxious reflections they cause by filling them in.
It also doesn't last for long and requires continuous refreshing, especially if you use an ammonia-type cleaner like Windex. It is good at repelling dust from being attracted to plastic, which can build up a static charge.
