Sealand Toilet Repair

My Sealand / Dometic SC111 Traveler Lite toilet is leaking around the china to base connection. While looking for a stock replacement seal, I ran across an "upgrade" that replaces the two rubber seals with a plastic and rubber system. The reviews on Amazon are good, but I always take those with a grain of salt. Has anyone used the seal listed in the link below? I'm thinking the stock one lasted almost 6 years so its probably fine, but maybe the upgrade is the way to go...if its really an upgrade.

  • One of the posters said toilet seats would be the least of your problems. Not so.I went to every RV dealer in the state and no one had a toilet seat or could
order one even though I had a exploded view and the part number. They said
it is not available but a new toilet is for a Keystone Springdale 2008 model.
I got one at Menards which was a perfect match color and size. The hinges on
these things don't last that long so I'm supposed to buy a new toilet and install it for two hinges on the seat!
  • 6 years ? 6 more years doesn't seem so bad .
At 12 plus years old, toilet seals will probably be the least of your problems. :)
