Poly Glow

Looking for a no-BS opinion of Poly Glow. Rig is 10 years old, been taken care of, but starting to not shine up so well anymore.

I know Poly Glow looks good the day after you put it on, and I don't really want to hear from the guy who just put it on last week.

How does it look 6 months later in the Arizona sun?

Give me your experiences, the good, the bad, the ugly. Looks like it will cost me a bit more than $100 to do this (the basic kit, plus an extra bottle), so I'm looking to hear from guys who started using it a year ago.

Thanks!
  • I have some experience using Red Max on my 1995 Bounder approximately 3 yrs ago. It looks amazing after you put it on. It lasted about 3 yrs and then the sides that get the most sun start flaking. Covering it definitely makes it last much longer. I recently bought the stripper and sprayed it on and washed off the old wax. No big deal. I am in the process of reapplying it. It looks so good when done that it is worth the work every 3 years to me. And it is so easy to apply. Apparently Red Max is no more, but Zep Gloss floor finish at Home Depot is the same stuff.
