So you can drive all over the place for free (except for all your time and gas and wear and tear on the car) and look at all the different RV's that are available, or you can pay an admission price and go to one show and see pretty much everything available in one day and compare them side by side? Seems to me like the price of admission is worth it.
The big shows are good, but not the others which you can not just about see all that is available. You see only what they want you to buy at some of these great shows. It would be great if we had a large show in Sacramento, Ca. with factory reps like we used to have. I bought my last Cardinal at a large show in Pleasanton, Ca. The factory reps were there allowing me to feel very comfortable talking and dealing with the local sales man and factory rep. Many varieties of RVs where there. That show has turned into sales show with NO REPS and very few brands and models. The last show in Pleasanton was not Pleasant at all. The same dealer I bought from before, different salesman, low balled me on my trade and setting the new one high. He actually insulted me. It didn't work out as he said it would, saying I could not sale mine and had to trade with him. Take or leave it! Remember, I like the big shows like in Pomona, Ca. It's the others that are hyped up to be great and are not which most are now.
