Portable Ice maker
What kind of water do you use in your portable ice makers, saw that tap water and distilled doesn't work well for very long..

Distilled water is one of the only things that will corrode stainless steel. Good for you, but not good for many metals.
I have a 12 gallon "Life Mist" water distiller that is made of stainless steel. It's 11 years old. No corrosion anywhere.
