I have the smaller version made by igloo that makes 26# a day with about a 2LB basket capacity. It is correct to say it is not a freezer, just an ice maker and as the ice it makes melts it falls into the resevior and makes more. The smaller version is good for 2 maybe 3 people max if everyone is using a lot of ice for drinks. For me it was pefect for the smaller size.
The larger one a friend has that he got from camping world and its good for 4-5 people. So far I have seen it from Dometic and Newair with a 50# per day cycle and I want to say a 5# basket capacity as its a little more then double the little one I got.
