Thanks for your response. I haven't purchased one yet. I do have to turn off my fake fireplace when I run the micro, so I am used to doing that. There are models of the portable/countertop dishwashers that are 680 amps, others that are 1160. I think 680 is fine, my DeLongi radiator style elec heater has two buttons, one is 700 and one is 800 for T1500 watts. I use the 800.
