Excel is using this roof for some models. Watch and see if or when they decided to stop it from their rv lineup.

Excel has reduced the warranty from lifetime to five years due to poor support from Rhino on issues with the Rhino Eco-Roof.
what is your source of information on the poor support?
idle chatter or something formal?

I don't do "idle chatter".
Straight from the prez of Excel.
As quoted from the Excel forum:
-------------------------------------------------
Dated 7/22/13
Dear Excel Family Members,
We have had a few application issues with the Rhino Eco-Coat roof system. Most of the issues have been internal and have been contributed to our “learning curve”. However, we are finding that working through these issues we are basically on our own. Rhino is showing little support.
Therefore, effective immediately, we will be reducing the warranty for Rhino Roof application from “LIFETIME” to a 5 year warranty. We strongly believe the Rhino Eco-Coat roof is everything they claim, with the exception of their claim of reducing interior temperatures... But since all warranty appears as if it will be absorbed entirely by Peterson Industries, AND we can't predict the future... we aren’t going to hang ourselves out there for the life of the coach.
It appears as if it is too late to get the “Lifetime” warranty claim out of the new 2014 brochure since it is at the printers now, so we'll just have to work through that.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we feel it is important to keep you informed so you can make good decisions when considering new units. We feel this forum is one of the best ways to get information out quickly.
Respectfully,
Bryan Tillett
President
