Budget is always a reality.. No Provost class A in my budget, nor is a new dually but at the same time matching a vehicle to a trailer is a simple matter of math.
While you can do things to "improve" a vehicles ability, in the end it will not change what's on the door sticker.
While I am often amazed at the people who pull in with a squatting truck and then say they have never weighted their rig. It's their business. I drive up and down I-69 daily and been watching the snow birds migrate north lately. Large 5th wheels on SRW with their tails drooping.
Often times someone does not do their homework while buying their trailer and gets caught short or bought a large trailer, then want's to complain their budget won't support the proper truck. They then come on the boards looking for someone to justify their mistake.
Why should it be a surprise that an F250/2500 is not the right truck to pull a 16,000# 5th wheel TH?
