I myself am a so-called newbie to RVing. We started with a gently used popup that weighed a little north of 1800# and it towed extremely well behind my Caravan. Then, did my research, crunched a few numbers (basic math really), and decided to go with a TT from KZ that comes in at about 3500# GVWR. Now i did do a few minor mods to my van, but nothing too extreme. I know she wont pull a 10000# toy hauler, but other then maybe a little more sluggish going uphill, she does fine. Do i want a newer truck? sure...and when i can afford one i will. But right now im enjoying what I have.
