It turns out that my problem was not the controller but a short in the positive voltage line. be sure to check incoming voltage before you spend $1400 on a replacement. as always, thanks for the help.

Also if you can find the relays (I can) another forum member designed a "Manual" replacement

Look for a thread about High Voltage drop to slide out motor It is in there.

I'd add limit switches to his design, but I may go that route as well.

If it's this one I certainly had no problems
