Precast Concrete RV pads?

Ok...I am a beginner RV buyer, so I thought I had checked everything on zoning laws about having the travel trailer parked on my son's rental house property, but now found out that I need a "continuous concrete pad". Please don't send me messages about "Well you should have done this or you should have done that", because I know I messed up and I am trying to fix the situation the best I can. I am looking into ordering a Pre-cast concrete pad so that it won't be permanent and I can just break it into pieces and remove it, if they ever move, I will then just have to fix the grass underneath...has anybody ever done anything like this before? What is the price? What are any pitfalls? I need a 16x10 pad.

  • You will not be able to get that "pre-cast" all in one piece.....unless maybe you pay a TON of money for it; would have to be set with a crane.

"Continuous" does not mean without seams though and you might do it in sections.

The ONLY way I would do this is get written permission of the property owner that includes LEAVING IT IN PLACE if you stop using it for any reason. And then pay a concrete contractor to pour it.
