Priority One dealer network

No experience but our dealer touted the same program as part of the deal when we bought so I too am interested in hearing real world experiences with the program.

They do. For instance my dealer, when we started to talk price and I mentioned the price on the windshield was $4k higher than the Internet price, came back $5K lower than the Internet price. So I don't think it was a pitch, it was presented as BTW, you also get this because our dealership is a member. I doubt the salesman had any experience with the program.

If it's no extra cost they will be giving it to every customer. If all dealers do it, everyone will be part of it. So, everyone will go to the front of the line for repairs, how does that work?
Everyone can't be first. :)

It appears to be a network of dealers who sign up to do this. If you purchase from a "network" dealer supposedly you can move to the head of the line when you take your service business to another member dealer if you have an issue while traveling. Good for them because they get your business and your repair $$$ rather than someone else. For instance I looked here near me in Florida and I have 4 major RV centers I could take my business to if I needed repairs. Only one of them is in the "network" so my guess is I would contact them first.

Also, you are supposed to contact your "home" dealer first and they "recommend you" into the closer dealer for service that "can't wait" until you get home. I would think the closer dealer would love my business, the question being, do you really jump to the front of the repair line.

You have to be at least 100 mi away from your selling dlr. Also it only applies to repairs that are essential for operation, if its something that can wait til you get home then it doesnt apply.

So after trying off and on to fix a dewinterizing problem with my water pump my wife suggested I use the Priority Network. It's a warranty issue and nobody would call me back. I emailed my dealer and 24 hours later their service manager called and said he had contacted the Priority Service Winnebago dealer closest to me and they would be contacting me to set up an appointment. 24 hours later nothing from the local dealer but I will keep you all posted.

So FWIW, I dropped the coach at the local member network dealership and they will look st it tomorrow. They did caution me that I was not allowed to add extra items because the priority service is only for the critical issue.
