Prodigy P2 Break Control

I don't think you can control it once it's broken.
The P2 is an excellent brake controller after you get them fixed though. ;)

YES.........the P2 is one of the best BRAKE controllers available

Replacing an old brake controller with a P2 is an upgrade.

We have had ours for five years with no problems, can not ask for more than that.

Once you get it and use it, you will slap yourself up side the head for not getting one sooner.

I have an old Tekonshia (Too lazy to Google the Spelling) with dials on each side.. I feel every time I get in, I have to readjust it..

Will this P3 eliminate this madness?? (I am looking to buy one myself..)

I just replaced my old timed controller with a P2 a few weeks ago and it was worth every penny. It's a night and day difference.

I have been looking at brake controllers and see the P-3 on Amazon and the hugh amount of reviews (358 as of 11-7-14) and 5 star rating..

one question i have is why is there not a system that interfaces with the brake pedal to give a better braking solution. I understand these controllers use accelerometor which determines the rate of braking and applies power to trailer brakes accordingly.

I would think a system that is tied to brake pedal might work better or now with the new digital system they are better..

just throwing out ideas :)

The travel on the brake pedal from light to heavy braking is not very much. The accelerometer of today will perform much better.

You have to get into the hydraulic system and use pressure to do any good.
