I was surprised to see the portable units are not UL listed. Wondering the reason. Am I missing something? Brian

It depends on which one you are looking at,the SSP-30XL is UL Certified as is the EMS-HW30C
I opted for the EMS-HW30c with the remote Better Protection and with the remote I can always see what is going on.
