The HW=50C and the switch basically do not interact at least no differently than pluging into shore power
The question is do you put the HW-50C in between the shore inlet and the IOTA ATS or do you put it between the ATS and the distribution panel...
I (personally) Choose to trust my ONAN generator... but many disagree with me and put it AFTER the ATS.. I do not argue with them.. You will have to pick a side (literally)... Both schools of thought have advantages.
