Since you are considering Jayco and buying out of state, check out RV Direct. They seem to typically have the best prices in the country on Jayco.
In most states you have to pay the sales tax in which it is registered. Some neighboring states have agreements and processes for dealers to handle that. Some do not so you may have to pay your local state's sales tax when you register the trailer with DMV.
