I traveled to a volume dealer just outside Cincinnati, Ohio from Florida to buy my new fiver because I saved a ton of money. No problems getting it registered and licensed in Florida or with the amount of taxes that I paid.
I started fulltimimg 6 months later so I knew I would not have a 'home' dealer. The dealerships that did warranty work seemed glad to get the work. And my fiver builder (Heartland) will also authorize warranty work to be done by an independent contractor too.
I would do the same thing over again, even if I was not going to fulltime.
