Protective Coating on RV exteriors

Has anyone had an experience with ExteriorShield and MicrobeRepel? Buying a new RV and am considering these products. Longevity is a question as is lingering smell and toxicity in the interior.

If you really want it you can go to an auto-paint supply house and buy a large jug of it for less than $50 and do it yourself.

Ditto on "Scotchguarding" your fabrics. Buy the spray cans and do it yourself.

Huge profit maker for the dealer. We use Nufinish, hard to beat and cheap too.
  • Are these products/services that the dealer is trying to sell you as an add on?
If so, forget them. They are nothing more that a basic coat of wax and a huge money maker for them.

and the Upholstery and Interior protection is a spray can or two of Scotch Guard.
