THANK YOU for this timely reminder, for the goodly number of members who live in areas where this is applicable. Just returned from a 2000 mile trip to the Grand Canyon, and yes there are leaves and pine needles that can cause a problem when wet. Got home to find that winds had blown most of the leaves off mine and my neighbour's trees, so now time to clean up.
Another reminder for folks like me that are in clean up mode:
Don't blow your leaves into the street!!! Bag them, mulch them, whatever, but the street is not your personal disposal area. In many places this is illegal.
