My first impulse upon seeing this post is to run out to Lowes and buy this inverter,, being PSI that's a great price. But then I got to thinking what do I need it for? We are only just getting ready to start drycamping, and I've upgraded my batteries and added solar., we have all LED lighting. Currently I can't think of anything that uses 300 watts or less that we couldn't run just off the 12 volt receptacles in the fiver. Can anyone give me some examples of stuff needing 300 watts or less that can't be done with 12 volt DC? Even the coffee maker I've replaced with a stove top percolator. 300 watts won't run a hair dryer.
