My kids typically go nuts when camping. We live in the boondocks, and have ZERO neighbors. We go camping so our kids can socialize outside of school. My wife and I laugh, because our kids are socially awkward at times. Mostly when there is an established click of kids.
We tell them to leave people alone when they are packing and unpacking, and eating dinner or appear to be having family time. And they are NEVER EVER to go in someone's camper without us having met the family and usually then we still say no. Play outside!
