Why do lots of parents think that campgrounds are safe places to let their children wander about on their own. Think about it, how many have you seen people just driving through a campground? Could any of them have been predators?
While hosting at a state park, the rangers alerted me to a person who was taking photos of small children at the swimming area. Now there is nothing illegal about taking photos of children. It did however upset several fathers who complained to the rangers. Every time the rangers attempted to contact the person, that person avoided the rangers.
Children should be supervised where ever they are.
