This is why I suggested that the OP tell him to go ask his parents for permission. Leap of faith assuming he has some sort of social disorder. Do I agree that he crossed the boundaries by looking into the truck? To some extent. Some kids are just so curious and need to be challenged constantly that their behavior does lend itself towards odd behavior. This doesn't mean they have any condition or syndrome. It's obvious by some of the responses that many of you have not dealt with kids with over the top IQs. Their social skills often resemble those with special needs.
