What is going on here? The OP pulls in to set up, a kid arrives and annoys him for a few (?) minutes while he is setting up and then leaves. The kid has no further contact with the OP during his stay. OP is upset enough to post his rant and point to the kid as being a problem. Then we get a poster who admits no expertise, training or experience who guesses the kid has Asperger syndrome and away we go sliding into lack of parental supervision, etc.
How long was the kid there? As I read it, he was gone before the OP finished setting up so a guess of less than 20 minutes might be in order and during that time he "pestered" the OP's son about bike riding a fishing. Then he was gone with no further contact during the OP's stay.
There are two problems with this thread. The first is the OP complaining about a kid--like saying "can I help" without saying "HI" and other things that just irritated him. The second is only popupcamping and garyhaupt seemed to recognize the "problem" is the OP not the kid. The rest of the posts, I just marvel.
