Seems like Mosseater was just relating an experience at a campground, not really bad or good, wondering if others had experienced the same.
Yes, my family has had the same experience. Usually good camping neighbor kids coming over. Once or twice I've had to be a bit more direct, telling them to come back at another time when the situation required it. Seems like to me that the kids who were the most nosy and pushy, seeming to be lonely, had parents that I rarely saw, and only if I looked for them. We also had kids come over looking for other kids, and later their parents come over for some polite conversation - pretty obvious to me that they were "checking us out", lol. That seems to be good parenting... letting the kids think they are out exploring on their own (they have to learn to sometime), but the parents knowing where they are and keeping an eye on them, if at a distance and not too obvious.
Anyways, good camping and see you on the road!
