There are no restrictions in Florida of any kind. The few local "recommendations" are pretty much ignored. Florida and our leaders pretty much have a "let em die" as long as the money keeps coming in attitude. We have been told our population is old so they will die anyway. So your only concern is for your personal safety and what you feel comfortable doing to keep yourself safe. Don't expect masks or social distancing for the most. Here it's business as if there is nothing going on. Chuck
Not sure where you live, but here in the Keys you cannot get into any establishment with out a mask and people except for the out of staters and the people from Miami are adhering to it.
And as far as taking care of the seniors I guess you have not heard the news (right from the governor) that we will be getting the vaccination even before essential workers.
I checked with the Monroe county board of health and and they said yes that it is true and we should be getting an e-mail as soon as it is available.
I was going to quote the governors words, but I don't want to start a political war

We live in Central Florida. I lived in the Keys for 10 years. It never accepted itself as part of Florida. As far as vaccination for over 65, that is simply the largest voting block in Florida so it will come before our police, EMT's and other essential workers that interact with a large segment of the public. But it is in doubt at this time just how long it will take to actually get the vaccine out to us. Yes, I am over 65 by quite a bit. My point to the OP has been, your concern is not and should not be restrictions or quarantines. It needs to be on taking care of yourself if you plan to come to Florida. Our infections average 10,000 to 13,000 PER DAY and positivity rates average 8 to 10 percent. With no restrictions or guidelines in place and very few practicing social distancing or mask-wearing, you need to be very careful down here. Only you are going to take whatever measures you need to stay safe and healthy. Chuck
