We're out here off Plomosa Rd. near Quartzite, AZ. Today, I was coming back to our rig after shopping and dining in town.Just before we pulled off of Plomosa Rd we saw a white sedan driven by a lone white female drive up and stop by our TT at about 2:00 pm or a few minutes later. My security radar went off loud.She said 'how are you' to us as we drove by, but when I said 'what's up?' she just drove off. Towards our nearest neighbor. Might not of heard me, but probably did.I might just be paranoid, but my wife is way more sensitive than me, and it alarmed her as well.Innocent by-passer or thief casing easy picking? Either way, let's stay safe and aware.

So many possibilities, you never know. Could be looking for her dog, OR, looking to steal something. If you're aware of what's going on around you, no reason to get paranoid. IMHO

Don't let the nay-sayers get you down. Its a well known fact that there are a lot of "creepy-crawlers" or low life individuals that frequent the free areas around Quartzsite. Many generators are lost every year plus other RV items. It pays to be alert.

Believe your intuition or sixth sense. You may stop the threat by being present of whatever in a case like that.
The few times I haven't paid attention to the "radar" as you called it, I regretted it.
I can't label it like sight, hearing, or touch but I think everyone has it if they would just listen.

It was a former in-law. Everyone has an in-law like this. He died years ago - not from lead poisoning, either.

Probably one of the wisest things you've ever done. :) I had a neighbor that never seemed to work.....except at night. He made horrible noises, like metal on metal during the night. Police came to my door one day and asked about them. :) Short story --- he went to jail for stealing cars and tearing them up and parting them out. :) :)

If he found one he would keep an eye on it for a couple of weeks and if no one appeared to be in the area he would strip it and sell the metal or parts. He tried to talk me into helping him strip the metal siding off a building once but I thought it was pretty fishy that he wanted to do it after dark and declined.

In retrospect, I probably should have 1) got the license plate 2) took a cell phone picture 3) called the local cops.

I just wasn't prepared for it. By the time I had asked 'what's up?' she had driven off to where the plate was un-readable. I only had to think about it a few seconds before coming to the conclusion that it was real suspicious. I didn't think someone driving by my RV and stopping for a couple seconds (till she saw me) was worth a call to the local police, but on second thought, perhaps I should have.
