Take a look at the build sheet of your TT. Mine lists many some "options" as mandatory, so their weight may not be included in the dry weight rating. Mine had a "Lightweght Package" that now includes:
Laminated Crowned Roof System
Laminated Floor
Block Foam Brick Insulation
Aluminum Construction (front, back and side walls, floor, roof)
Enclosed and Heated Underbelly
Radius Double Entry Step
Tinted Safety Glass Windows
2” Thick (R-7) Azdel Composite Sidewall Construction
4 Stabilizer Jacks with Sand Pads
WIDE-TRAX Axle Placement
HD Leaf Spring Suspension
Dual 20 lb. LP Tanks
Zero Degree Tested
It also allows the MFR to list a base price much lower than typically equipped price.
Summary, 5180 pounds to 5500 yellow sticker weight. Fairly common to be 200-400 pounds over dry weight ratings.
