I had a set, mounted a big level on the front of the trailer and they worked great. I did not "drive" off of them like recommended, but reversed off them. Never had any slippage issues, but I was always on pavement (race track paddocks).
Current trailer has levelers, so no longer use the Andersons.
I do not think they would work well for a van/motorhome if you have to raise different heights for steer and drive wheels. Just not designed to work that way.
