Hmm. Some things run better down hill. And If the hose is on the ground. There is going to be a sharp rise where it connects to the CG sewer, and so a blockage, and YOU will then have to raise the hose by hand to get all the "stuff" out.
Put the hose on a slant off the ground, and all that is taken care of. You get a gentle slope from the sewer hookup on the RV to the in ground CG hookup. I would never lay my hose on the ground. I'm just too lazy
