I just walked into a Tractor Supply store for the first time yesterday. One of my trailers needed a new axle (landscaping trailer). Local trailer place had to order the axle and hubs, and the hubs would not be installed (not really a big deal).
Tractor Supply had the axle I wanted, with hubs attached, sitting on a shelf for half the cost. Actually even better, as it had "easy lube" hubs.
I understand the axle may not be quite as heavy duty, but it will work for what I need and they had it in stock (actually, I wouldn't be surprised if the trailer place would have ordered the same axle).
I always want to frequent small, local stores over big box stores, but when I need a part right now I do what I need to do.
So my first experience with TS was very impressive. We'll see what happens as time goes on.
