We had a similar store and the knowledge of the 2 men that worked it was amazing. We like on street of 75 to 100+ yr old homes. Several years back, my neighbor put a true wood burning cook stove in their kitchen. It was mostly for looks but they did route chimney stove pipe to use for supplementing heat. The stove had an oblong chimney connection in back so he needed some sort of an adapter to get to round stove pipe. He went to this hardware store and asked if they knew of such an adapter. The store owner asked him if the stove had 4 or 6 eyes. Neighbor or replied 4, owner walked over to some shelf and pulled the adapter down. Of course, it fit perfect.
