Quick connect adapter

I have a portable grill that came stock with a regular hand-held connector to attach to a LP tank. Pretty much this model Here
My camper has a quick connect gas hookup coming out the side for what would have been a hang-on the side grill or stove. Is there an adapter that I can put into the handwheel connection of this grill in order to connect to the quick connect on the side of the camper? I would prefer to not replace the entire hose if possible.

  • Ok. So I have to get a new hose But I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Its not a regular portable grill that uses the small bottles. But can't tell if the hose connection to the grill is the same as a standard grill would be.

Edit. After looking closer I think it would be a standard grill connection.
  • You need to remove the existing regulator from the unit prior to hooking it up to your camper. If you dont you will hardly get any propane coming through and hence no heat. Best bet get another hose made up for the unit at a bbq/propane gas retailer. That way if you want to run from a bottle you just change hoses. Yes there is a quick connect adapter that you can get and then put on your hose.
