There are defined definitions for assault.Assault is not an off leash dog. Assault is not a dog that can reach you unimpeded. There is no mention in the OP's original description of attacks or the dog threatening anyone. Let's at least try to stick to the facts and not create imaginary scenarios. There is also no mention of the dog unloading #2 anywhere. Common sense has left the building.
For the record:
If I witness someone pull in next to me and take there unleashed under control dog to the beach and return I will not be upset or bothered in the least bit.
Now if the unleashed dog is out of control, disturbing the peace, or crapping everywhere that is a different scenario. However we need to separate fact from fiction.......Back to that common sense thing.
