One thing that installers tend to overlook when declining ReadyBrake cable installations, is that the cable does not need to be centered exactly on the brake pedal arm. The cable can be offset in either direction up to the width of the brake pedal. The only change that makes is that it's necessary to temporarily remove the rubber pedal pad to drill a couple of small cable routing holes in the pedal in line with the cable entry point and close to the arm. Once the cable is installed, the pad can be reinstalled. This type of installation is covered in the instructions.
