I feel for ya pal. I have a similiar situation.
I have a 2013 Honda CRV setting up to tow. I really wanted to go with the Ready Brute Elite tow bar which has the Ready Brake built into it.
NSA's web site lists a company in San Leandro, Calif. as the closest installer ( a 40 minute drive each way from me ) but when I went there the owner said he dosn't want to do it on a CRV. Says it's " too difficult ".
I called NSA and spoke to the boss, he says installers put it on CRV's all the time but " if he dosn't want to do it ,can't make him do it ".
I live in N.Calif. in the East Bay Area.
Next closest installer is 450 miles away down in L.A.
Guess I'll have to go with something else.
Any reasonably proficient general auto mechanic should be able to do a ReadyBrake cable installation. It does not require an "authorized shop". I did the installations on both of our toads right in the yard at our cottage.
