rear axle ratio change better towing capacity
Hi, In great need of help. We have bought 2 years ago a 2007 silverado 1500 crew cab standard box 4.8l V8 with rear axle ratio of 3.23. Last year my parents gave us their dutchmen four winds trailer...

Ask around at a good transmission shop or a 4x4 off-road shop. I would skip the 3.73 and go right to 4.10 ratio.
I did get a tuner to reprogram mine for the 3.55 to 4.10 change.
