Recent Reviews on rvparkreviews.com are hilarious

In recent weeks, RVparkreviews.com has started posting all the one and done reviews from the past few months. This is a change from their previous policy of requiring 3 reviews before a review is posted. Many of these one off reviews are easy to find, just look for the one and two star reviews in the most recently posted section.
Some of them are unbelievable. One of my favorites posted today. A park in Nashville was bashed because it had changed ownership. The poster claimed they had been visiting for years. Now the new owners have the audacity to not know every returning guest by name. As a matter of fact, they don't even know what sites those returning guests prefer.
Apparently they new owners have a green thumb, however. In the span of one year the trees have grown to the point they block the roads, block satellite service etc. Overnight, the sites have gotten completely out of level, developed deep ruts and otherwise become virtually unusable. Bad new owners to say the least.
The reviewer is going to change their go to park in Nashville because of the ownership change. Sure hope their new park has psychic owners who know the names of everyone, even before they meet them.
This is a serious situation that needs to be addressed. Some people cannot accept change. Maybe there should be a law that parks cannot be sold without the permission of the previous guests.

  • Since we are talking about irrational items, I found rvpark reviews poor once the new owners "revamped" the interface. I very rarely surf there now.
  • Well, reviews from any website can be suspect, it's really irritating when someone bashes something that has nothing or very little to do with what they are reviewing. As for RvParkReviews.com, which I just spent the last 20 minutes reading reviews for our neck of the woods prior to coming here to the forum, was no worse or better than the last time I checked in. We have personally been to most of the these RV parks and we found the vast majority of reviews to be pretty spot on. Sure there a couple here or there that are too harsh, and some are over gracious as well. No biggie as it just comes with the territory when reading reviews, RvParkReviews.com will always play a part in our research for info on unknown RV campsites. We also use RvParky.com or phone app which has a plethora of info.
  • My favorite was a parent who was complaining that her kids were stopped by the RV Resort security and told to stop riding their bikes on the sidewalks and through the central courtyard/pool area near the office. There are signs posted everywhere indicating no bike, skateboard or scooter riding on the sidewalks. The parent indicated kids should be able to do whatever they want when on vacation....
  • We had a local campground we went to for a few years. It was close and great for weekend get aways. We became friends with the manager and both camp hosts. We even volunteered our time and personal money to help improve extra activities and events. We really loved the people there.

Then the first camp host left. Then the second. Then the manager had some dramatic life changes and he left too.

Then new people came 9n board. This was a county run park, and the powers to be incorporated changes that were just never the same again.

For us, the charm that attracted us there was now gone. Since 5he the campground has made some wonderful improvements, it is a great campground. But for us, it's no longer, the same. When the manager left, we never went back again. Although physically the entire thing is improved, emotionally it is 100 percent different now. We have no desire to go back.
  • I agree with the negative review. All RV park owners, managers, hosts and maintenance personal should know MY name and preferences...ALL of them....:S
