Redmax Pro Issue

Three years ago I did the Redmax Pro treatment on my Thor Jazz 5er. It looked incredible and I put one more coat on a year since. This year I noticed milky/cloudy stains on the blue decals and spotting/flaking on the white portions. It also yellowed slightly.
Yesterday I spent 5 hours stripping the entire trailer. It was much whiter when I finished. I used the heavy duty Zep stripper and it came off easy enough. Now I'm wondering if I should use the Redmax Pro again. It does look amazing when finished, especially the cap.
Maybe it was the heat. Several 100 degree days and its stored outdoors. Anyone else have the same problems after a few years of applying Redmax or Zep?

    UPDATE: I stripped it and reapplied the RMP. WOW. It looks awesome. If I only have to do this every 3 years or so, its worth it. I will say stripping it is a chore because its very difficult to get it all the first time. Then after using the barkeepers friend powder I noticed some didn't rinse off so I washed the trailer again before applying the RMP.

    All the hard work is the prep work. There are many acrylic finishes (like Red Max Pro, but with UV inhibitors) marketed for the fiberglass boat market - Vertglas from Lovett Marine, Poli Glow, NewGlass2, Star brite Glass Cote, Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze, Higley FiberGloss Restorer, and Presto Gelcoat Rejuvenator. They all cost more than RMP, but at least in theory, should not yellow so fast, but eventually, probably will deteriorate and yellow. Decals aren't the best base for acrylic finishes as adherence is not good, and that is what cause the cloudy look.

    Redo with poliglow with UV protection. Zep does not have UV protection was never designed for outdoors. I did mine with poliglow and so far so good. One side of MH sits in direct sun all day. Decals faded and bubbled. Since poliglow this has stopped.

    It does but the Zep heavy duty stripper works very fast. Only about $9 at Lowes. Half bottle did my entire trailer. Easy but time consuming.

    I did a quick strip and redo of the front cap last week, it's been almost 2 years since I initially did the RMP3, when I picked up the trailer from storage I noted some flaking. I will plan on the strip and reapply process every year or so.

    In my case it is a no brainer. Six months, at best, on a wax 3 years on RMP. Mine has been on three years, no yellowing and no issue on the decals.

    Since you've gone to the trouble of stripping already, I would just reapply it too. You know what you're in for if you don't; oxidation, attempts to wax, wax not lasting and not really shining, etc. At least if you reapply rmp you know you'll have at least a few years of less work and aggravation. My $.02.

    It wasn't just the decals. The entire trailer yellowed, but just slightly. I couldn't really tell until I stripped it off. It started to flake just a little. Still, it totally stopped the oxidation, especially on the cap which used to be dull. Now its always shiny. The best part is when I wash it, I don't have to dry it. It dries without leaving water spots. Sooo, I guess I'll do it again.
