Reese High Performance Dual Cam Sway Control system issue

Also called the Strait-Line System. My Cams are getting flat spots on them with a mushrooming affect with a bur protruding towards the bracket hangers. Not sure if this is something that happens...

That's normal and will happen. I just flipped mine after 11 years and 25k miles. You can turn them over and use the other side so you have a new surface.
